ZE Services Down

Anyone using the app to check their battery status? Mine one just hangs then crashed out without showing the status screen. It was fine on Monday and there was no update.

Mine failed during charging Tuesday night - got a message to say charging started but never got the charging finished message. Zoe owners have also reported the service has failed.

Looks as though it was a temporary glitch - the app worked again some 8 hours later, although I've no emails as yet.

The Renault web site has no knowledge of either my car's reg. no. or its VIN.

Sure - the App is called ZE Services. Your log in will be that advised by Renault Customer Services, if you don't have it - ask them for it!

Looks like your phone needs its lunchtime charge (There was a joke doing the rounds a few years back that if you wanted to get a response from an iPhone owner, you had to ask before 3pm or you'd never get it).

A colleague handed me his iPhone 4 the other days and described what was obviously a problem with the battery. It was out of warranty and he took it to a local shop to have the battery replaced. The battery they took out had the consistency of plasticine - and it now sits as an ornament on his desk. Leaving your phone on charge all day, every day does seem to have a detrimental effect!

Wrong assumption - it was screen grabbed from my iPad before I went to bed - it hadn't been charged since Tuesday - so no need for a mid-day top up!

Still not got your ZE Services to work on anything? PC even?

My ZE Services last updated on Thursday at 4.05pm. With 70% of battery unused I have an estimated range of 53.4 miles. That's 76 to the full charge. Better than the 65 it estimated immediately after charging and nowhere near the real world range of 95 I expect the car to do.

Annoyingly this is nowhere near the 98% accuracy I used to get before the dealer reprogrammed all the car's computers!
