Cold draught from under steering wheel

Ambients are dropping below zero all this week for me.

I have become aware of a cold draught from under the steering wheel where the 'hole' for the steering wheel rake adjustment lever sits,

It is noticable only at motorway speeds (60 and above) so it is definately passing through from the 'motor' compartment

If I place my left hand down at the slot whilst driving there is a distinct cold draught.

It was that cold yesterday that I could feel it blowing onto my knee.

With the ongoing challenge of trying to heat the Fluence in winter, all I need is a bloody LEAKY cabin!!

Anybody have a similar experience?

Never adjusted it since getting the car. I think it is in the highest position?

Yes. I can now feel the 'ED' draught. Not sure if it is less than yours, I'd have said it was 'barely noticeable' in mine, but I guess we all respond to those things we are personally more sensitive to (mine is noises!!).

I felt it yesterday, coming from around the rake adjust lever. Today I put something in the hole and the draught was diminished. If there is air pushing through from somewhere, it has probably just moved the draught to coming out another hole in the dash!! However, co-incidentally today I achieved my best M/kWh during winter weather using the 19C-to-feet-slow-fan setting. Maybe it helped keep the cold air out after all...
