Anyone had this?

Brothers,

I don't recall anyone mentioning anything similar before so I'm guessing it hasn't happened to anyone else. I was just parked up outside the local shop while the wife popped in and as I put the old girl into drive 2 warning lights illuminated on the dash. The good old spanner and an orange battery shaped box containing an exclamation mark just under the 50mph text on the speedo. A rather less than reassuring message also popped up "Elec. System to check".

The vehicle still drives, delivers full power and appears to be charging but despite turning it off and on a few times the warnings persist.

According to the handbook the orange battery symbol is a fault with "The 400v electromechanical system" drive straight to dealer.

I'll do that tomorrow then.

Cheers.

Not that I have heard, though we are still waiting for Bob the Teach to get back with his story/outcome.

Do please keep us informed on any development, and if the dealer does anything then do please ask them to state how much the work would have cost if it had been out of warranty work. I am keen to understand the relative reliability risks for the Fluence, and we have so few examples to go on!

Yes indeed. I think mine will be one of the higher milage examples with around 12k at present. Knowing my luck I'll turn the thing on tomorrow and there won't be a fault in sight but we will see....

I had a similar display on the Twizy. It appeared once after a long drive, and I never saw it again.

RE: Anyone had this?

Sorry for the slow update. Pretty much as assumed I unplugged the F the following day, fired it up and no warnings were present. I've driven it the last 2 days with no issues or reoccurrence.

I'll let you know if anything changes.

Cheers

RE: Anyone had this?

The electric failure sign also appears, if your Gear is not locked correctly!
Turn off, turn on! Sign should not appear again!
If it does appear once again: Different problem!
