First MOT passed!!

Hi guys.

Not been around the forum for a LONG time. My car will be 3 years on 1st March. No issues with MOT as I would have expected.

21,000 miles and still minimal wear on the brake pads. Great advert for regenerative braking.

RE: First MOT passed!!

First MOT today no issues, but only about 6000 miles total here.

Had the car serviced as well, total cost 146.

ouch! Query it!

Mine was done for 79. There IS no price for the Fluence shown on the system. My dealer plumped for the Zoe price (being an EV). The 145 is the Megane looky-likey.

I was quite happy with the price. 40 was for the MOT and they replaced the filter @ approx 30 just for the filter. More than happy with what has been done for the price.

Must be the cheapest garage based service I have ever had.

RE: First MOT passed!!

My local garage charges 30 for MoT's and the price of the filter is 18 plus VAT, so whilst not outrageous, you can get cheaper! Who did yours?

I use what is my nearest Renault (ZE equiped) dealer to me in Aldershot (SMC Aldershot) about 20 miles away from home.

They did all the work on the mixer motor issues I had and have been really good with courtesy cars.

The car was cleaned as well, it needed it as it was covered in salt :-).

RE: First MOT passed!!

I had mine washed 3 times in 8 days as on the first visit for a service and recall, the didn't have the recall parts in stock. Second visit, they got the parts however they were for a Megane, not a Fluence, so second wash and a promise to get the right ones. Third visit, parts fitted to the parcel shelf and the third wash.

The colour was getting lighter!
