Just been looking at what I signed up to when I got my Fluence.
Car cost me £8000 cash and I signed up to the £77 a month battery lease.
Thus considering that I expect the resale value of the Fluence to be zilch the car will have cost me £10772. Over 36 months that is £299.22 per month
Nissan are currently offering the Leaf Tekna (top of range spec) with the 30kwh battery for £2649 customer deposit and £279 over 37 months. That equates to £350 per month and I could have kept my £8000 in the bank.
Not sure I would do the Fluence again!! Yes the leaf is ugly in the extreme but the expected 2017 model looks a lot nicer.
I am an electric vehicle convert (as long as work situation stays the same with range) and just pondering what to replace my Fluence with when its warranty runs out and it requires a major repair of greater value than its worth
