Overview of Registration Numbers in Europe

Hi,

just an idea. Can all the forum members with a Zoe reservation post their reservation number?

If we find double numbers, we'll know that the numbers are countrywide, if not they are maybe unique?

What you think?

I'll offer a #10 in Germany.

Regards
Umbi

I suggest it's easier than that - we can just check to see if the numbers go up in the same order as the dates we registered.

Me: #172 (England) on 1 May

Straight off such a late date indicates to me that the numbers are per country.

I agree on that...

I think it's a bit strange though that I have been offered (and have ordered of course) the Veja Zoe shoes. As far as I understand it only the first 1,500 reservations in total will receive that offer, and I have seen some pretty high reservation numbers for some countries with earlier dates than I have...
Just a thought...

Good point, Trevor.

So the numbers I read here let me estimate a total reservation (not orders!) of 2000-3000 Zoes for Europe so far...still some way to go for the Renault Marketing departement.

Is that right? I haven't worked the numbers but I didn't think we had reached as high as 2-3000.

I think that Renault have made some kind of guess about how many cars could be sold in the european countries, so if we say that Renault have reserved 500 cars for Denmark, then they should reserve approx. 20 times as many cars for Germany, because the German population are 20 times bigger than the Danish.

Sorry, I've overlooked that post.

We have a #646 for Germany and #66 for Denmark.

With France as a market where you get a lot of money from the government if you buy an electric car (so I assume the french numbers are even higher than Germany) and England as a large market where you have a #172 3 months ago, I consider 2000-3000 realistic.
