New Zoe at Renault Manchester

Renault Manchester have a Zoe in the store.

They've listed it for sale on Autotrader:

As I suspected, UK reservations are meaningless.

New here, first post after test driving a Zoe at Renault Leicester on Saturday!

It looks like they are indeed selling the car (at around a 400 discount). The ad is also drumming up business for anyone interested.

There's nothing to suggest that you can walk into that showroom and walk out with a Zoe; I'd instead think that it's an advert stuck on there to solicit business and get orders placed. It looks like a black Intens, which is the model they've been sending out as demonstrators. You can always give them a call to find out, but my money's on it being a trick to get people on the hook.

Letting agents do the same thing all the time advertising desirable properties that have already been let, in order to get the sales leads.

Welcome!

What did you think of the car?
Have you driven a Leaf?

RE: New Zoe at Renault Manchester

I loved the way the Zoe drove and covered just over 10 miles on mixed roads and lost 3 miles of range. I was a little disappointed at how much plastic is used inside which makes it feel cheap but that may be down to end of life recyclability. Leg room was generous in the back and it feels inside and out more like a small MPV.

I think I need to go and see it again to get over my issues with the interior. I'd also like a play with the R-Link and settings. If I can do that I'd consider buying one.

PS. I've not driven a leaf as the looks and light interior don't appeal.

2013 Leaf has the option of a darker interior. Mid-trim gets a new fabric and the pricey top trim level will have black Leather seats.

Seats are slightly different with a bit more support:

Interior is certainly an improvement, exterior needs a little work.

We need to drive one.
