Renaults ZE website contradicts offers

There are some who say that Renault UK don't really want their EV line to succeed. OK, that's one discussion, but the other day I saw this;

http://www.nextgreencar.com/news/650...ase-incentives

Which indicated that as a special offer Renault were lowering the monthly battery lease on the Zoe to only 45 per month. To me that makes sense. It's affordable and may help get a few more purchases. So imagine my surprise when I looked at the Renault.co.uk website and noticed that not only do they still have the Fluence shown for sale (when UK sales stopped late last year), but that the monthly battery lease for the Zoe was still at 77 not 45 as per the above link.

So which is it? Is it 77 or 45? It's either Renault being completely and utterly incompetent or they are deliberately trying to confuse owners on their EV's and hope they won't buy one.

Anyone wondered why Renault sales and market share continue to drop when you see the above confusion going on internally.

I had mentioned this offer previously and wondered whether it might trickle down or up to Fluence owners. The offer does exist but no, to the best of my knowledge Fluence owners can't take advantage of it.

Their web site is a complete mess for reasons described only recently, most notably among which being that the Fluence is still shown as a current model that you can actually buy. It isn't and you can't!

And the 45 pm battery rental on the Zoe is advertised, but I've not been able to find it on the website when actively looking. It might be there, but I can't find it.

What hope a potential customer!?!!

Perhaps they just fit a Twizy battery instead?

According to the Green Car Website Renault have announced a 45 monthly battery lease figure for 3000 miles annual use. Has anyone else spotted this, so it's not Renault being generous. I understand it only applies to the Zoe.

Yes, Eep, but the point I'm making is that at 45 for only 3000 miles Renault is not offering a bargain!

It might be of use to someone travelling around 10 miles a day, though 3,000 is low. It's about the limit on most classic car insurance policies! Hardly a daily commuter, though may help some.

The way sales are, any additional sales would be welcome.
