What is this for?

One thing that has stumped me with the Twizy is that on the indicator stalk, there is a second selector ring set further in from the headlight one. However I cannot figure out what it does and the manual does not show or mention it at all. If I switch it on while the car is on it just makes some sort of warning noise constantly and nothing else happens that I can see.

Thanks

RE: What is this for?

It is a warning signal for when they are lots of people about who don't hear you coming. It is not in e the manual.

It is not loud enough and I play music instead. It is also very annoying like the "you are still in Drive/Reverse and stationary! noise.

Thankyou! That would have made sense if it was much louder and outside of the car! I almost took down a student who crossed the road in front of me because the Twizy is virtually silent while coasting at less than 25mph!
