ZE charging

Not just the Twizy, but EV's in general. The lithium batteries are better charged often then when they are getting empty.

These batteries do not suffer from memory effects quite the same as old nickel cad ones. In fact they will last longer if they are topped up more. A10% discharge can be done 1000s of times, while a 90% discharge will affect the batteries in a few 100s of charges.

See Battery University

Good to know thanks for the heads up :-)

I generally put the Twizy on charge when it's parked up over night have yet got to a less than 1 bar battery during the day and that's driving around town a lot. Also letting motor slow you down i.e recharge on slowing down helps rather than going for the break as you do in a car. Takes a few trips to master but once you learn the Twizy method of driving you just keep going :-)
