Do you keep your car charged at 100% ?

I have read somewhere it is best to keep the car below 80% charged.
And that you should time your charge to be at 100% just a few hours before you need it, in order to keep the battery in good shape.

This seems overly complicated, and is it something you do ?

Thanks,

RE: Do you keep your car charged at 100% ?

You do not need to worry with the Renault Pack.
The pack never charges to 100%.
Just let the Vehicles own system worry about it.
Some other EV's give you a choice to charge to 100% but this an actual selection via the dash or online control, most manufacturers do not recommend this long term as it will eat into the life of the pack.
Also if you short charge continually the pack will not balance the cells, long term this will lead to cell voltages drifting all over the place.
The vehicles which can do an 80% charge will do a cell balance at 80% as if it was a full charge.

Excellent news,

It would have been an unnecessary increase in life complexity
I will start shopping for 3.7kW charger.

Thanks,
