What other cars are you considering?

Whether you are buying a Zoe, Twizy, or any other Renault electric vehicle, which other cars are you most considering?

Let's discuss them in this thread.

RE: What other cars are you considering?

We are considering the following to replace our 05 plate Vauxhall Combo 1.3cdti

Kangoo Z.E. Favorable test drive.
Kangoo Crew Van Z.E.
Kangoo dci90 diesel Haven't driven one yet.

Mercedes Citan Might attend launch event in January.
Mercdes Vito Too big but used prices are very attractive.

Citroen/Peugeot Bipper/Nemo ATV Favourable test drive. Fold down passenger seat uncomfortable. Can't get other options we want without that fold down seat.
Citroen/Peugeot Berlingo XTR+ /Partner ATV Haven't driven one yet. We can get a brand new high trim Peugeot van for less than < 10,000.
I'm watching for news about electric versions of the Partner and Berlingo.

Used BMW X3. We owned an e83 X3 in the US: e83blog.blogspot.com
New BMW X3. We test drove an F25 X3 yesterday. We both liked it but it will probably be too expensive.
BMW i3. Almost certainly too expensive. Details aren't out yet.
Tesla Model S Expensive but worth it. Just have to find the money.

Holiday to New Zealand.

VW Caddy eliminated after test drive. It is overpriced.
Ford Transit Connect eliminated without driving it.
Fluence Z.E. eliminated after test drive. Not right for us.
Defender 90 or 110 Eliminated after test drive.

RE: What other cars are you considering?

After two test drives, I updated my previous post.

I liked the Defender more than I thought I would. On the other hand it would get 25 miles for every imperial gallon of diesel we poured into it. More importantly, it isn't something I'd want to drive on our daily commute.

We both liked the new X3 a lot. Price will probably keep us away.

Added Tesla Model S after taking a good look at one last week. Sitting still it is an amazingly good car. Didn't have an opportunity for a test drive. Tesla is offering test drives, but we would have needed to plan ahead.
