Fluence in the Czech Republic

Hi all,

I am the owner fluence from June 2013. I live in Liberec, the north of the Czech Republic. I bought the car as a demonstration of France and is including the battery. It was like new, mileage 2000 km. Next service I have in Germany, 70 km, which is nice. renault dealer is indeed right next to me, but here he does not sell electric cars. I ride with him every day and I really love him ![hr]

Welcome to the forum, Ramon. I hope you enjoy your purchase, it's really a very nice car even though we tend to find little faults. At least it gives us something to talk about! We will be pleased to hear of your experience of driving an electric car.

The part I like is that the car INCLUDES the battery!

So how come that isn't offered here in the UK?

Do you want to release what sort of price you paid or at least an indication?

Ramon, welcome! Do tell more. You bought outright from France, and there is no battery rental. Is this it?

How much did you pay, if you do not mind us asking?

Hi all,

in the Czech Republic we are two, both have cars including battery.
My car cost 24 000 Euro, other car 20 000 Euro ( 20 000km from Better place). In our country is not possible battery rental.

Nice.

And weird you can buy outright, yet we can't. So bizarre.

Thanks for the information, Ramon. So it seems the Betterplace cars are finding their way back to France and being sold, then? Is yours one of the ex Betterplace cars?

(I have driven through Liberec many times, we have family nearby.)

mine is purchased directly from the dealer Renault in France, but the other one is bought from Better Place (the car has a special betterplace SW and inoperative navigation)
Both are interested in the possibility of mounting chameleon charger. Do you have some information about it?

Do you have family nearby? This is great!
I live in Jablonec nad Nisou, it is next to Liberec. I work in Liberec.
If you go here, please let me know, we can spend some nice time together. I'm excited to electric mobility. I also have a Vectrix electric scooter, ride on it is also an experience.

24,000 is just shy of 20,000.

Expensive compared to the 7,000/8,500 second hand Fluence we have here but without the 77/94 per month battery lease.

But I wonder if it will encourage more sales if we too could buy the car and battery in full - just like you buy a car and engine ;)

The OP wouldn't have bought his cars if he was tied to a battery lease. Looking at his pictures show just what a good looking car the Fluence is, especially so in white.

To Ramon, do you have solar PV on your property? Just curious.
